March 19, 1993 — Angie DiBiaso hits a free throw with 24 seconds left to play to break a tie and lift Northern Lehigh to a 45-44 victory over Muncy in the PIAA state playoffs. After a Muncy timeout, Trish Treskot steals the inbounds pass to secure the win. Jenn Gombos leads the Bulldogs, coached by Larry Parry, with 11 points while Jana Phillips contributes nine. The winners, who turn in an impressive 13-of-16 effort at the foul line, also receive six points from Treskot.
