The Pleasant Valley boys tennis team kicked off the spring sports season with a victory on Monday.

Pleasant Valley swept singles play and posted a key win in doubles action to top Northampton 5-2 in an Eastern Pennsylvania Conference match.

Josh Schaffner, Jake Ammermann and John Berry helped the Bears (1-0) dominate singles play. Schaffner and Ammermannn also teamed up to give PV a win at No. 1 doubles.
