Lehighton School Board members unanimously approved Mrs. Mikki Wentz to fill the unexpired term of a school board member who resigned last month.

Wentz, who resides at 213 N. Third St. and is employed by Gnaden Huetten Hospital, will fill the seat of Henry Kimmel, thus becoming the fifth female on the board.

Wentz has a daughter in the senior high school, a son who is in junior high, and a 3-year-old son at home. Her husband, Dennis, is a member of the Lehighton Police Department.
