Three people have been charged with retail theft involving a Schuylkill County business in three separate incidents.

State police at Schuylkill Haven charged Ashley Knopp, 29, and Tristan Reed, 26, both of Mount Carmel, for two separate theft incidents at Kohl’s Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall, in Norwegian Township.

Troopers charged that the two entered the store at 5:27 p.m. on Feb. 19 and removed men’s clothing items with a total value of $164.95. Then on Feb. 20, around 11:30 a.m., the two returned to the store and removed more men’s clothing valued at $221.72. They later returned the items without receipts and were given store credit.

Also arrested at Kohl’s was John Howe, 27, also of Mount Carmel. He entered the store on Feb. 18 at 11:57 a.m. and removed boys clothing valued at $105.96. He returned the items and was given store credit.
