State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks are investigating the following incidents:

• Mark A. Gottschall, 58, of Pottsville, was cited by state police after a two-vehicle crash at 9:24 a.m. Feb. 15 on Skyline Drive (Route 61) in Blythe Township.

Police said he was driving a 2016 GMC 1500 and attempted to make a left turn into a pump house from the right lane as a 2017 Toyota Tacoma operated by Thomas J. Discavage, 73, of Shenandoah, was passing him. Police said Gottschall turned into the path of the Tacoma, causing the latter vehicle to strike the GMC vehicle in the left side. Both vehicles then traveled to the left of the roadway where the Tacoma struck a guide rail with its right side. Neither operator was hurt.

• A criminal mischief incident happened between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 11 in East Brunswick Township. A 60-year-old Orwigsburg man reported that someone intentionally struck 15 property line reflectors that he placed around his property in the 100 block of Brookside Lane as a guide to those plowing snow. The estimated damage is $75.
