Lehighton Borough Council took the following action on Monday:

• Approved Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Bennett’s 443 Land Development Plan and subdivision until April 30.

• Approved the sewer utility relocation reimbursement agreement with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

• Accepted Robert Mesko’s resignation from the Police Civil Service Commission, and said it planned to advertise for the vacancy.

• Approved Brian Rubin’s resignation from the property maintenance board.

• Appointed Michael DeDonato to the zoning hearing board.

• Approved the updated Municipal Emergency Operations Plan.

• Approved a resolution for a declaration of disaster emergency.

• Adopted an amendment to the snow emergency ordinance.

• Approved the draft job descriptions.

• Approved the annual $50 half-page Sports Hall of Fame advertisement.
