TASD meeting postponed

The Tamaqua Area School District’s school board meeting scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to inclement weather. No further information was available.

Palmerton Chamber luncheon postponed

Due to inclement weather, today’s Palmerton Chamber of Commerce luncheon has been rescheduled for Feb. 20.

William B. Cyr, CEO, Freshpet, and a Palmerton native, will speak at the group’s monthly luncheon held at Bert’s Steakhouse.

Sen. Yudichak book reading postponed

Because of the inclement weather expected Tuesday night and Wednesday morning Sen. John Yudichak has postponed the children’s book signing event, originally scheduled for this afternoon at Dimmick Memorial Library, Jim Thorpe, until 4 p.m. Feb. 20.

Lehighton borough office

The Lehighton Borough Office is now closed due to the weather.
