Emma Kuczynski recorded a triple-double to lead Tamaqua to a victory on Thursday.

Marian, Jim Thorpe and Weatherly also picked up wins in girls action, while the Panther Valley boys also triumphed.

Panther Vy.-Tamaqua

Emma Kuczynski’s triple-double highlighted Tamaqua’s 71-46 Schuylkill League victory over Panther Valley.

Kuczynski finished with 27 points, 17 rebounds and 12 steals.

The Blue Raiders (19-3; 12-2) also received 15 points from Jamie Zuber, while Jen Frederickson added 12.

Erika Dubosky paced the Panthers (6-16; 0-14) with 18 points, while Megan Pascoe had 11.

Macy Alansky scored eight of her 15 points in the first quarter as the Fillies (18-3; 10-2) raced to an early 28-12 lead.

Marian received a game-high 23 points from Emily Shaud, while Emma McClafferty finished with 13 and Isabella Schwabe chipped in with 10.

Samantha Heenan led the Golden Girls (9-12; 3-10) with 20 points.

The Blue Devils (7-14; 3-10) were led by Victoria Donovan, who scored 12.

N. Schuylkill-Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe fell behind early but rallied to defeat North Schuylkill, 52-39, in a Schuylkill League contest.

The Olympians, who improved to 21-0 overall and closed their league schedule with a perfect 14-0 mark, received a game-high 26 points from Skyler Searfoss.

Searfoss scored 11 of her points in the second quarter to help the winners recover from an eight-point first-quarter deficit.

Olivia Smelas finished with a double-double, scoring 12 points and collecting 12 rebounds.

Lehighton dropped a 55-36 Schuylkill League decision to Pottsville.

The Indians, who finished their season with an overall record of 8-14 and a league mark of 2-12, received a team-high 10 points from Aaliyah Fisher, while Lillian Brown added eight.

Kaile Conrad recorded a game-high 18 points for the Crimson Tide (11-11; 8-6).

Three Panther Valley players scored in double figures during a 78-43 non-conference win over Oley Valley.

Rene Figueroa led the Panthers (14-7) with 21 points, while Brandon Stilitino contributed 15 and Trey Turner added 14.

Figueroa and Turner each tallied seven of their points during the third quarter when PV outscored their opponent by a 19-5 margin.

Matt Knowles paced the Lynx with 14 points.

Madelyn Jones (200, 500 Free), Kayla Sherry (200 IM, 100 Breast) and Brianna Dumond (100 Free, 100 Back) touched the wall first in multiple events.

The Tamaqua boys received a pair of wins from Zeno Zukovich (50, 100 Free).
