A Schuylkill county family is homeless after ripped through their home Friday night in Tower City. The fire was reported just before 10 p.m. as a kitchen fire at 335 West  Grand Avenue.

When firefighters from throughout the county arrived on scene they found heavy flames pouring from the dwelling. Fire personnel were on scene for six hours. A state police fire marshal was on scene investigating the incident.
