State police at Frackville are investigating an attempted burglary at a Ryan Township, Schuylkill County, residence.

Troopers said a 55-year-old Mahanoy City man reported he found a kitchen window at his residence along Orchard Road broken in an apparent break-in attempt.

The incident was reported on Monday at 3:26 p.m. Damages to the window were estimated at $150.
