PennDOT has lifted the speed limit that were in place on Interstate 80 in Monroe and Carbon counties.

A speed limit restriction is still in place for Interstate 380 In Monroe County.

Commercial vehicle bans remain in effect on Interstate 81 north of Interstate 80; Interstate 84; Interstate 380; and Interstate 476, the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike north of Interstate 80.

The bans included all commercial traffic, including buses, though tow-truck operators were permitted to perform their operations for motorists.

A 45-mph speed restriction remains in place on most of the interstates in Pennsylvania.
