The Carbon County Art League meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. at The Seventh Moon Wellness Spa, Lower level, 701 Bridge St., Lehighton.

Events scheduled for the year are include:

• Feb. 13: The Art of Composition by photographer James Emert

• March 13: Art, Wine and Open Mic Mixer at the Carbon Chamber office.

• April 10: TBD

• April 13-14: Annual CCAL Art Exhibition at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center

• May 8: TBD

• June 12: The Restorative Art Room by art teacher Sarah Gross

• July 10: TBD

• Aug. 14: Annual summer picnic at Beltzville State Park. This is an all-day event with opportunities for plein-air painting, photography and fun games. Dinner will be ready at 6 p.m. The cost is $10 per person.

• Sept. 11: TBD

• Oct. 9: Painting Workshop led by Wayne Yurchak. The cost is $20 per member or $25 per future member to paint a spooky Halloween canvas of your own.

• Nov. 13: Woodworking by Joan Lech

• Dec. 11: Annual Holiday Mixer. No cost to attend, but attendees are asked to bring along a dish to share.
