Lehighton state police investigate incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents investigated by troopers.

• A 49-year-old man from Palmerton arrived at the barracks at 12:34 p.m. Jan. 2 to report that someone stole hydrocodone pills from his home. The theft allegedly occurred during a New Year’s Eve party at his home along Pine Lane in Towamensing Township.

• A 23-year-old man from Chestnut Ridge Drive, Brodheadsville, Monroe County, reported at the barracks that his brother’s vehicle was missing from his residence on Chestnut Ridge Drive. The theft occurred between Feb.1 and March 31, 2018.

• A 34-year-old man from Kunkletown, Eldred Township, Monroe County, reported that his credit card was stolen and used to make multiple unauthorized purchases at various locations. The incident was reported on Dec. 29.

• On Jan. 2 at 9:48 a.m., an 87-year-old woman from Sterling Valley Road in Kresgeville, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone had taken oil from her oil heating tank.

• On Dec. 24 around 10 a.m. state police responded to a resident on Pine Street in Lower Towamensing Township. Troopers were met by a woman who said a physical fight ensued between her children and her godson. The incident is under investigations. The victims are a 5-year-old girl and an 8-year-old boy.
