Lehighton state police report on arrests

State police at Lehighton reported on the following arrests made by troopers.

• Gregory Everett, 50, of Lehighton, has been charged with harassment – physical contact for an incident at 1:35 p.m. Dec. 28 in East Penn Township. Troopers said Everett physically harassed a 46-year-old Lehighton woman.

• Troopers reported a traffic stop was made at 5:23 p.m. Saturday along East Lizard Creek Road in East Penn Township. As a result an 18-year-old Lehighton man, who police declined to identify, is facing charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The charges are pending test results.

• At 9:24 p.m. Dec. 28 a 2005 Ford Mustang was observed stopped along Hemlock Street at Interchange Road in Franklin Township with no headlights on or hazard lights activated. A traffic stop was initiated by police. The driver, who was not identified, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence. Charges are pending test results.

• Two Lehighton men, ages 49 and 31, were cited for letting their dogs leave their respective properties along Horseshoe Lane in East Penn Township, and entering onto the other’s property. Both of the men, who were not identified, were cited for dog law violations. The incident occurred on Tuesday at 6:17 p.m.
