A Bloomsburg man was cited by state police at the Fogelsville barracks for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash at 3:07 p.m. Dec. 18 on Route 309 in Lynn Township.

Police said George E. Nock, 44, was cited after a 2015 Caterpillar tractor he was driving struck the rear of a 2017 Kia Forte driven by Kenneth R. Minnick, 61, of Weatherly. Police said both vehicles were southbound and Minnick had slowed down anticipating making a left turn onto Springhouse Road when Nock’s vehicle struck his from behind.

Nock was also issued a citation for not having his vehicle’s registration or certificate of title.

The Forte was towed from the scene. Neither driver was injured, police said.
