State liens filed

Several liens were filed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania against people owing money to the Department of Labor and Industry’s Unemployment Compensation Fund. They include:

Donnie N. Christman, 70 Britt Drive, Lehighton, $3,883.51 owed for claims paid in 2012; Nadine Eperjesi, 10 E. Point Road, Albrightsville, $2,645 owed for claims paid in 2012; Denise K. Coady, 224 W. Ridge St., Lansford, $2,091 owed for claims paid in 2012; Ryan Rehrig, 50 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, $2,660 owed for claims paid in 2012; and Leslie A. Stafford, 38 Springgarden St., Lansford, $2,680.73 owed for claims paid in 2012 and 2016.

Suspension under appeal

• Michael John Toth, 41 Municipal Road, New Ringgold, has filed an appeal of the suspension of his operator’s license privileges.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation, Harrisburg, notified Toth his license was set to be suspended for one year beginning Aug. 10, because he refused to submit to chemical testing in an incident on June 14.

Toth is able to retain his license until a final determination of the suspension is made. In his appeal, he contends the suspension is improper or unlawful because no request for a blood alcohol content test was asked of him.

Mortgage foreclosures

• Ditech Financial LLC, Tampa, Florida, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Joseph A. and Mary C. Nolasco, 317 Skye Drive, Albrightsville, over a property at that address.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $168,972.08, plus interest, costs and attorney’s fees.

• People’s First Federal Credit Union, Allentown, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against William E. and Allison J. Solomon, 71 Yankee Road, Lehighton, over a property at that address.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $78,711.55, plus interest, costs and attorney’s fees.

• KeyBank N.A., Brooklyn, Ohio, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against John W. and Carol E. Hofacker, 101 S. First St., Apt. 406, Lehighton, over a property at 77 Avenue A, Palmerton.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $51,729.32, plus interest, costs and attorney’s fees.

Decision is appealed

• The Ford Motor Credit Company, c/o Burton Neil & Associates, West Chester, has appealed a decision of Magisterial District Judge William Kissner of Palmerton.

He ruled in favor of Joshua J. Tomsic, 2360 Long Run Road, Lehighton, on Nov. 21, 2018.

Judgments put on record

• Midland Funding LLC, San Diego, has filed a transcript of judgment against Dylan Craigzelena, 1080 Hahn’s Dairy Road, Palmerton, in the amount of $869.67.

The judgment was ordered by Magisterial District Judge William Kissner on Nov. 16, 2017, for failure to pay credit card charges with Credit One Bank N.A.
