State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of two all terrain vehicles and a rifle from a hunting site in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Charles Buffington, 73, of Galeton, Potter County, reported two ATVs that were on a trailer on hunting property he owns off Cold Run Road at Chicken Run Road in East Brunswick Township, were stolen. He added that one of the ATVs had a rifle attached to it.

The ATVs were a blue 2006 Polaris 600, valued at $6,000; and a green 2008 Yamaha, valued at $6,000. The rifle was a Winchester model valued at $800. The theft occurred sometime between Monday at 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday at 5 a.m.
