Health records on iPhone available to St. Luke’s patients

St. Luke’s University Health Network now supports Health Records on iPhone, which brings together hospitals, clinics and the existing Apple Health app to make it easy for patients to see their available medical data from multiple providers whenever they choose.

Patients can view their St. Luke’s MyChart health record online either through the St. Luke’s mobile app or in the Apple Health app, alongside their medical records from other participating institutions.

Patients will have medical information from participating institutions organized into one view, covering allergies, conditions, immunizations, lab results, medications, procedures and vitals, and will receive notifications when their data is updated. Patients authenticate using their MyChart patient portal credentials to directly download their available Health Records onto their iPhone. Data is encrypted and protected with the user’s iPhone passcode, Touch ID or Face ID.

For more information on Health Records, visit: https://www.apple.com/healthcare/health-records

To get started, open the Health app (with the red heart icon) on your iPhone, select ‘Health Data,’ select Health Records and authenticate using your St. Luke’s MyChart account credentials.
