A Carbon County business has been cited by the Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board.

Ruhi Enterprise LLC, trading as Palm Beverage, 619 Delaware Ave., Palmerton, was cited on Oct. 8 for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to a minor.

This charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for a more serious one. In addition, the judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
