A winter storm warning remains in effect until 9 a.m. Friday.

Heavy mixed precipitation is expected, with total snow and sleet accumulations of 5 to 8 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch.

The roads are very icy all over the region. The hazardous conditions will impact today`s evening commute and Friday`s morning commute.
