November 13, 2009 — A balanced rushing attack helps Northwestern rally for a 16-7 victory over Scranton Prep in an Eastern Conference Division III semifinal game. The Tigers, who run for over 300 yards, receive at least 60 yards on the ground from four different players. Kevin Oxley leads the way with 71, while Nick Boyd adds 68 — one of them a 39-yard TD run. Colton Breininger finishes with 67, with quarterback Trevor German adding 61, including a 1-yard score. The winners, coached by Bob Mitchell, also receive a field goal from Andrew Deutsch.
