The three-vehicle crash that happened on Thursday afternoon in Lehigh Township has resulted in the death of a third person.

The crash was the third one in a week in the township, where two other people died.

John O. “Jack” Fisher, 91, of Salisbury Township, passed away on Friday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

His wife, Joanne M. (Koch) Fisher, 86, was pronounced at the scene on Thursday, while the third victim, Kellen Kuhn, 63, of Lehigh Township, was pronounced dead shortly after he was taken to the Palmerton Hospital.

Details of the crash have not been released by township police, although published reports indicate the crash included two cars, one of which carried the Fishers, and a motorcycle operated by Kellen were involved in the tragedy.

Jack Fisher was born in Nesquehoning, a son of the late Harry E. Sr. and Mabel E. (Broscious) Fisher. He was a graduate of the former Nesquehoning High School who served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a mechanic in the Specialty Gases Department of Air Products, Hometown, for 25 years, until retiring in 1991.

They are survived by their son, John J. Fisher. Jack is also survived by a brother, Harry E. Fisher Jr. and his wife, Clea.

Kuhn, a pilot for over 27 years, was the husband of Linda (Cooper) Kuhn. They have two children, Kellen D. Jr. and his wife, Kate, and Katie, wife of Sean Harley. His mother, Edith Jane (Altmannsberger) Kuhn, also survives, as do three sisters.

A fatal crash also occurred the previous Friday in the township, claiming the life of Richard Bowman, 76, of Pen Argyl. It happened just after 5 a.m. on Route 248 at the Route 873 intersection.

The second crash was reported last Sunday in the 4200 block of Lehigh Drive (Route 248). Killed in that crash was David Ahn Jr., 38, of Northampton.
