Mike and Tara Deuber announce the opening of Mike’s Karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, located at Star Plaza, Route 309 and Route 100 in New Tripoli on Oct, 22.

Deuber’s classes are age-specific, with younger kids learning more of the karate, and the older kids learning both karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The adult class learns Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Mike Deuber received his black belt in karate in 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland. Deuber also holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which he received in 2012. Deuber started his martial arts career in 1988 as head instructor of a Kim’s Karate in Springfield. By 1993, he owned two centers in Philadelphia.
