Papay Announces Guardianship Tracking System Training Set for Nov. 1

Carbon County Register of Wills and Clerk of Orphans’ Court Jean Papay reminds court-appointed guardians of an upcoming training opportunity for the guardianship training set for Thursday.

Papay encourages guardians to attend one of the workshops offered by the Administrative Office of the Pennsylvania Courts that will show court-appointed guardians how to use the new Guardianship Tracking System.

GTS will make it possible for guardians of adult incapacitated people to file inventory and annual reports online from any internet-accessible computer.

A training session will be offered in Carbon County on Thursday at the Hampton Inn Lehighton at 877 Interchange Road in Lehighton. The training will run from 6:30-8:30 p.m. To register and for more information, visit https://pacourts.webex.com.

The training will be led by Joan Krechmer, a licensed clinical social worker with certification in gerontology, a certified eldercare manager and a National Certified Guardian.
