Jim Thorpe: The annual Jim Thorpe Halloween Parade has been postponed to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Palmerton: Trick or treat will go on as scheduled, rain or shine, from 6-8 p.m. today.

Rush Township: The Rush Township Police Department’s inaugural 5K Run/Walk will begin at noon Sunday. The trunk or treat event in the Hometown Farmers Market parking lot has been postponed to 1-4 p.m. Sunday. Trick or treat night will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Slatington: The Northern Lehigh parade is 6 p.m. Sunday through Slatington and Walnutport. Participants should line up at 5 p.m.

Tamaqua: In case of bad weather on Saturday, the rain date for trick or treat will be from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Oct. 31. As of now trick or treat is still this Saturday. Check Mayor Nathan J. Gerace’s Facebook page for the final call for trick or treat. It will be posted by noon Saturday whether it will be postponed or not.

Towamensing Township: Trick or treat will go on as scheduled, rain or shine, from 6-8 p.m. today.

• Chestnuthill Township: 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31. Trunk or treat will be held at the Chestnuthill Township Park, 221 Route 715 Brodheadsville from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. There will be a costume contest for children 12 and under, including Scariest, Funniest, Cutest and Most Original. • Polk Township Volunteer Fire Company trunk or treat, 2-6 p.m. Oct. 28.

• Tamaqua: Zion Lutheran Church in Tamaqua is hosting a trunk or treat rain or shine from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 28 on Mauch Chunk Street between Greenwood and Market streets.
