Graham S. Morris, 47, of Weatherly, was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:50 a.m. Oct. 11 in a work zone on Interstate 81 in Ryan Township, according to state police at the Frackville barracks.

Police said he was transported to St. Luke’s Miners Campus in Coaldale by Ryan Township Ambulance. The severity of his injuries is unknown, police said.

Police said he was driving a 2016 Subaru Forester northbound in an unmanned nonworking work zone when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and traveled approximately 100 feet down an embankment, striking several trees.

Police said Morris will be cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.
