Three people were killed in a head-on collision early Saturday morning in Schuylkill County. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the crash occurred at 4:05 a.m. along Route 209 in Reilly Township.

Troopers identified the deceased as Brandon M. Stephens, 31, of Pottsville; Jayden J. Klemas, 19, of Tremont; and a 17-year-old male from Tremont. The three were pronounced dead at the scene. Colin J. Knoll, 20, of Pine Grove was seriously injured. Knoll was transported to the Hershey Medical Center.

Troopers said Stephens was driving a 2008 Pontiac G6 southbound when he crossed the center line and collided head-on into a 2004 Toyota Corrola driven by Klemas. The 17-year-old was a passenger with Klemas, as was Knoll.

Troopers said the road was closed for about five hours during the investigation, which included a Troop L accident reconstruction team.
