Members of the Tamaqua Borough offices and police department proved they’re in the holiday spirit recently when they created a comical welcome display at borough hall as part of the scarecrow decorating contest sponsored by the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce. The scene features a police officer with radar gun, coupons for coffee from the local Hope and Coffee Shop and pastry from Dunkin’ Donuts.
