Grand jury recommends charges against former Pleasant Valley administrators

Two former Pleasant Valley School District administrators have been accused by a Grand Jury of abusing their positions to unfairly discipline employees.

A suspended administrator who has already been charged with illegal wiretapping was also named in the grand jury presentment.

According to court documents released on Tuesday, a grand jury recommended that Carole Geary, Christopher Fisher and Joshua Krebs face charges of official oppression, threats in official and political matters, and retaliation for past official action.

Krebs was previously charged with illegally recording staff members, and commiting perjury for statements he made to the grand jury.

Fisher retired from the district in 2015. Geary left her position last summer after her contract was not renewed.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office released the presentment, but did not say if they have plans to follow the grand jury’s recommendation.
