The prayer shawl ministry of St John’s Church of Mahoning invites anyone who would like to get together to work on projects.

The meetings are also for those who would like information on making the shawls. The group is currently looking for people to crochet or knit lap robes and shawls. The yarn is provided and can be picked up at the church.

To date, the ministry has provided 734 items to people needing comfort during times of illness and death. Prayer shawls and lap robes may be requested for anyone in need of comfort (not limited to members of this congregation).
