Palmerton Police Department reported the following incidents:

Possession of drug paraphernalia:

Jeffrey Smith, 33, Palmerton, was charged with intent to manufacture or deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest, for an incident Oct. 5 in the 200 block of Lehigh Avenue.

Joshua Mertz, 41, Palmerton, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct, public drunkenness, unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, for an incident Oct. 5 in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.

Disorderly conduct:

A 15-year-old Palmerton girl and a 14-year-old Palmerton girl have been charged for disorderly conduct, for an incident Oct. 9 on Fifth Street.

Harassment:

Melissa Wayda, 29, Palmerton, was charged with harassment, for an incident Oct. 4 in the 400 block of Fourth Street.

DUI

: Dakota Strawcutter, 24, Palmerton, was charged with two counts of DUI, for an incident Feb. 28 at Delaware Avenue and Fifth Street.

Sherry Roberts, 49, Northampton, was charged with two counts of DUI, registration and certificate of title required, driving under suspension and drivers required to be licensed, for an incident July 16 at Delaware Avenue and Third Street.

Theft:

A 17-year-old Slatington girl was charged with retail theft, for an incident Oct. 7 in the 500 block of Delaware Avenue.

Maximum gross weight:

Hoswald Alban, 49, Dover, New Jersey; Mario Barragan, 53, Budd Lake, New Jersey; Diego Camargo, 49, New Jersey; and Wilman Vargas Coronado, 47, Dover, New Jersey, were charged with maximum gross weight, for incidents Oct. 9 at Mauch Chunk Road and Franklin Avenue.

Citations:

Police also issued two citations for vehicle violations and one for speeding.
