Christine Wortmann of Kunkletown, has achieved academic honors in adult degree and continuing studies at Saint Francis University, in Loretto, for the 2017-2018 academic year.

She is pursuing a degree in early childhood education.

To be eligible for this recognition, students must complete a minimum of 15 credits between Sept. 1 of one year and Aug. 31 of the following year, with a GPA of at least 3.5; and part-time (fewer than 12 credits per semester) undergraduate student status must be maintained throughout the one-year period.
