October 10, 1964 — Gene Semanoff scores a pair of touchdowns and Lehighton’s defense registers a shutout in a 20-0 victory over East Stroudsburg. Randy Rex gets the Indians, coached by Mike Ebbert, on the board in the second quarter when he breaks free for a 43-yard scoring run. Carl Wolfe’s interception sets up Semanoff’s first TD, which comes on a 2-yard run in the third frame. A 41-yard pass from Denny Novatnack to Jake Boyer later in the period leads to Semanoff’s other tally — a 13-yard TD run.
