Casino sells PA Lottery Powerball ticket worth $150,000

MIDDLETOWN — A casino in Luzerne County sold a Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $150,000 for the Oct. 3 drawing.

The ticket matched four of the five white balls drawn, 41-53-59-63-66, and the red Powerball 03, to win $150,000, less applicable withholding. Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000. The Power Play multiplier drawn was three.

Mohegan Sun Casino at Pocono Downs, 1280 Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre, earns a $500 selling bonus.

This is the second big Pennsylvania Lottery win at a casino in recent months. A Cash 5 jackpot-winning ticket worth $400,000 was sold in August at SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia.
