Learn about “Return of the Winter Birds” when the Pocono Garden Club meets at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Monroe County Conservation District, 8050 Running Valley Road in Bartonsville.

The program will be presented by Darryl Speicher of the Pocono Avian Research Center.

Participation is encouraged in the monthly design exhibit, titled “Fall Down.” This horizontal arrangement should incorporate grasses and flowers in autumn hues. Use silk or fresh flowers. No accessory permitted.

The horticultural entry would be a hosta or rose in a clear container. The houseplant entry would be any color potted begonia.

Bring entries 30 minutes before the start of the meeting.

Everyone interested in gardening is welcome to attend.
