Learn about Milton Hershey School

Prospective students and families are invited to a free informational event in Lehighton with Milton Hershey School admissions counselors at 6 p.m. Oct. 17 at Lehighton Elementary Center, 3 Indian Lane, Lehighton.

Families will learn more about how Milton Hershey School’s educational opportunities and structured home life could create a brighter future for their children.

Milton Hershey School is a cost-free, private, coeducational school in Hershey for children from families of lower income in pre-K through 12th grade.

The school provides a positive, nurturing home life year-round, so children have the skills necessary to be successful in all aspects of life.

The school also offers small class sizes, extra study hours, hands-on learning, access to the latest technology and the opportunity to accrue scholarships toward continuing education.

To be considered for enrollment, a child must come from a family of lower income, be between the ages of 4-15, and be free of serious behavioral problems that are likely to disrupt life in the classroom or home. Enrollment is not guaranteed and prospective students must demonstrate the capability to benefit from the school’s programs. Children are accepted year-round if space is available through a rolling admissions process.
