SUNDAY SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS RECOGNIZED AT ST. JOHN’S

The Pennsylvania State Sunday School Teachers Association of Harrisburg recently recognized Jennifer Swartz for 25 years of teaching Sunday school and Jean Dunbar for 25 years as Sunday school superintendent with certificates of achievement at St. John’s Lutheran Church in-the-heights of Jim Thorpe. The two were honored during the 10:30 a.m. worship service recently with gifts from the congregation council and Christian education committee and are pictured with the Sunday school teaching staff.
