Tamaqua police reported on the following incidents:

• A Coaldale man was in the wrong place at the wrong time on Sept. 10 as Tamaqua police were executing warrants on a suspected drug dealer on Railroad Street. Jonathan Seekins, 35, of High Street, was walking toward the suspect’s residence at 12:10 p.m. when he noticed the police activity. His next actions caught the attention of police, who then spoke to him about where he was headed. During the conversation Seekins admitted having syringes in his pocket. They were confiscated and he was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Colin S. McGregor, 28, of Lafayette Street, Tamaqua, was cited for public drunkenness on Saturday after officers found him in the street at 2:34 a.m.

• Chastity A. Yatsko, 27, of Saint Clair, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and retail theft after she took a pack of cupcakes from the Fegley Mini Mart, Center Street, on Sept. 5. Yatsko left the store before officers arrived but was found minutes later near Broad Street, eating the cupcakes. Officers found a clear baggie with four pills, a syringe, a scale and a tourniquet in her purse.

• Blaine Kirchner, 55, of Cedar Street, Tamaqua, was charged with harassment following an incident on Sept. 6. Witnesses saw Kirchner arguing with a woman in a parking lot near his home at 7:06 p.m. At one point he slapped the woman, then pulled her by the hair into his house. Kirchner admitted pulling the woman by the shirt saying he was trying to keep her from running into traffic.

• Michael T.K. Boyer, 28, of North Columbia Street, Tamaqua, was cited for harassment after an argument over a cellphone photo of him being served eviction papers. The victim said Boyer tossed her to the ground in an attempt to delete the photo.
