State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary and a theft from a vehicle in separate incidents.

The burglary occurred at the residence of Joseph Burke, 30, of 26 Patriotic Hill Road in Mahanoy Township. Someone broke into a garage and damaged a 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle inside. The incident occurred sometime between Sept. 2 and 3.

A 20-year-old woman from Norwegian Township, Saint Clair, reported her 2014 Ford Escape, parked near an electrical substation at Wade and Peach Mountain roads, was damaged and entered. Rocks were thrown at the vehicle damaging the rear window, windshield and side window. An undetermined amount of money was removed. The incident occurred sometime between 4 a.m. and noon on Sunday.
