September 17, 2009 — Panther Valley’s Jake Dunn catches four passes for 74 yards, including a 46-yard touchdown late in the third quarter, to help the Panthers gain a 16-6 victory over Lehighton. Dunn also converts a fake punt that aids a 14-play, time-consuming drive in the fourth quarter to keep the ball out of the hands of the Indians’ offense. Dunn adds an interception in the final frame that helps seal the win. PV, coached by Frank Damian, also receives a 14-yard TD run from Kyle McAvoy, who finishes with a game-high 83 rushing yards.
