Ohio police: Christy crashed stolen truck

A Columbus, Ohio, television station is reporting that fugitive Shawn Christ crashed the truck stolen from Skitco in Hazle Township.

WCMH-TV said an Christy crashed the truck Sunday night on Interstate 71 and ran from the scene.

Ohio State patrol says a white 2002 GMC utility truck with a Pennsylvania registration was reported stolen Saturday night from Skitco Iron Works in Hazle Township in Luzerne County.

Mansfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the report of a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 71 near mile marker 171 northbound.

The driver fled the scene and is believed to be on foot in the area. The crashed vehicle, a white 2002 GMC utility truck with Pennsylvania registration

ZJP4486, is reported stolen from Skitco Iron Works in Hazle Township in Luzerne County, police said in a release.

The vehicle is believed to be driven by Shawn R. Christy based on law enforcement intelligence.

Christy is wanted for threatening President Donald Trump and Northampton County District Attorney John Morganelli.

Christy, 26, is wanted by the FBI, U.S. Marshals Service and U.S. Secret Service for multiple

offenses. Christy is described as a white man, 5-10, 150 lbs., green eyes and short brown

hair.
