The Northwestern boys and girls soccer teams picked up victories over Bangor on Friday.

Jim Thorpe’s girls soccer team also scored a win.

Northwestern-Bangor

A balanced attack helped Northwestern pick up a 3-0 win over Bangor in Colonial League action.

Sam Seyfried and Caleb Danner gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead at halftime. Riely Shafer’s penalty kick after the intermission set the final tally.

Danner also added an assist.

Moravian Academy

Moravian Academy blanked Northsern Lehigh 5-0 in Colonial League action.

Austin Recinos had two goals for the Lions, while Cameron Rohotgi tallied four assists.

Evan Horninger made seven saves for the Bulldogs.

Palmerton-Saucon Vy.

Saucon Valley rolled to a 7-0 Colonial League win over Palmerton.

Zachary Mikuta’s hat trick paced the Panthers.

GIRLS SOCCER

Bangor-Northwestern

Northwestern cruised to a 6-0 Colonial League win over Bangor.

Maggie Motolese and Jenna Lowthert scored two goals apiece for the Tigers.

Olivia Motolese and Kayla Bardonner also added goals, while Sara Hathaway recorded two assists.

Weatherly-Jim Thorpe

Jim Thorpe recorded its second straight shutout with a 10-0 non-league win over Weatherly.

Lydia Wallace led the way for the Olympians (2-3) with a hat trick. Heidi Washel and Kate Bos scored two goals apiece.
