September 14, 1963 — Roger Lipics throws two touchdown passes and runs for another to lead Palmerton to a 26-0 victory over Pleasant Valley. Lipics gets the Blue Bombers on the board in the second quarter when he breaks loose for a 30-yard scoring run. Later in the frame, he tosses a 5-yard TD pass to Joe Visnosky. The winners, coached by Bill Nonnemaker, add to the lead in the third period on Denny Bobita’s 28-yard scamper. Palmerton closes the scoring on another 5-yard touchdown pass, this one to Roger Paulas.
