September 12, 1958 — Bill Santore tosses a 10-yard touchdown pass to Gene Kulick with five minutes left in the game to give Nesquehoning a 7-0 victory over Parkland. The same duo sets up the score with a 20-yard completion earlier in the drive. The Warriors, coached by Tony Mezza, stop a Parkland threat when Pat Rose intercepts a pass deep in Trojan territory. Rose also comes up with a key 14-yard run during the winning march.
