Warrants executed by Tamaqua Police

Tamaqua Police released details on several recent incidents involving outstanding warrants.

• Nicholas Brandon McGlothlin, 27, of Tamaqua, was found sitting in a Jeep which was stuck between railroad tracks on North Railroad Street on Aug. 24. A records search turned up an active arrest warrant for McGlothlin, issued by the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant was confirmed and he was transported to the Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning.

• Jennifer Lee DiPietro, 35, of Tamaqua, came to the attention of officers on Aug. 20 while they were at a location in the 400 block of Pine Street. A records check found an active arrest warrant. She was arraigned before District Magisterial Judge Stephen Bayer, who set bail at $5,000 percentage. Unable to post bond, she was taken to the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville.

• Ryan Michael Ellis, 26, of Tamaqua, was stopped by officers who were looking for men they saw on motor bikes on Rowe Street on Aug. 10. A records check found an arrest warrant out of Northampton County. Before taking him to prison, a search was conducted. Officers found 170 syringes in Ellis’ back pack. He was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
