A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash Saturday evening along Route 903 in Penn Forest Township.

The crash occurred as the biker was traveling south when the driver of a northbound car attempted to make a left turn into a commercial lot, pulling into the path of the bike.

The motorcycle continued , going off a steep embankment along the right berm. The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Lake Harmony ambulance and Lehighton paramedics before being flown by MedEvac helicopter to an area trauma center.

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating the incident.
