The Carbon County Republican committee will hold the grand opening of the Doyle Heffley/Carbon County GOP campaign office at 450 Interchange Road, Lehighton, from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 13.

The office will be open various days and hours until Election Day, Nov. 6. The public is invited to stop by to gather campaign information such as candidate platforms, yard signs, handouts and bumper stickers.

The office will be used to answer voter questions, register new voters and assist with absentee ballots and other voter-related issues.
