Georgia woman hurt in mishap on I-80

Chun C. Kang, 54, of Duluth, Georgia, sustained suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 7:22 p.m. Wednesday on Interstate 80 eastbound in Stroud Township, according to state police at the Stroudsburg barracks.

Police said Suburban Ambulance responded, but the woman refused treatment.

Police said she was driving a 2016 Toyota Corolla that veered off the right shoulder and struck a guide rail.

When the driver tried to swerve the vehicle to the left, it went out of control, crossed both lanes of travel and struck a concrete barrier on the shoulder, spinning counterclockwise before coming to rest in the left lane.

She was cited for the incident.
