Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing charges following an incident on June 29.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Robert Lee Jones, 60, of Hemlock Drive in Tobyhanna, was stopped at 2:24 a.m. along Route 611, at the intersection with Route 940 for traffic violations.

He was found to be under the influence and was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests. He was then transported to the county DUI center for a blood draw. Charges of DUI, DUI highest rate, driving while under suspension — DUI related, driving while DUI suspended 0.02 percent, driving without a license and other traffic offenses have been filed against Jones.
