Thefts investigated by state police

State police at Lehighton reported on the following theft incidents being investigated by troopers.

• A theft occurred at the Bear Creek Lake Community, in the unit block of Pool Drive, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. An unknown criminal gained entry to a soda machine located at the community pool. Taken was about $200 in change. The incident occurred sometime between July 16 and 20.

• A 30-year-old man from Monmouth Junction, New Jersey, reported construction materials were removed from the driveway of a residence in the 200 block of Upper Greenhill Road in Polk Township, Monroe County. The theft occurred sometime between July 26 and 28.

• A 22-year-old Effort man reported someone stole a gas grill worth $200 from a residence in the 200 block of Long Mountain Road in Polk Township. The theft occurred sometime overnight of July 24-25.
